Hello, Well today was the last trading day of the financial year and I ended it in loss too but overall it is gains including equity gains so yeah it’s cool<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going to track all the gains weekly from next FY. Will maintain and excel and update the blog weekly with screenshots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aim is not to lose money. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So yeah all about todays trade, I had excited 22300 call at 4,000rs profit yesterday at price 12rs and today the market was a gap up and 22400 call was trading at 16rs so I sold it hoping to make 4k more. I took this trade while I was in the train and kinda sleepy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t hedge it and It didn’t have stop loss. Got home forgot about markets.. slept off.. got a margin call from firstock and I exited the position at rs 112. Then the markets just crashed and the options expired at 0. “I should have held onto the position till day end”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nifty had a really good bullish day and had a sharp fall at 3. I would have gained 23k if I hadn’t done anything today. My positions were that bullish already. I wish the positions were hedged or had SL. Always have stop loss and hedge when selling options on expiry day<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happy part is that overall positions were still not negative since other positions were bullish. I am bullish on nifty unlike last time where I lost lots of money holding onto my nifty shorts! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
